Originally from Detroit, MI, Derrick, better know as "DJ," started out with a simple dream of becoming a psychiatrist and taking a few pictures. Who would've thought 6 years and 2 degrees later he'd turn his hobby into his very own production company. Derrick has been writing, directing, and editing his own material since Junior year of college and with a few films already under his belt he seeks to continue to go further and reach new heights.
